Gustavian Louis XVI can be finished in gold gilt, white or natural wood and are always ornate with elaborate detailed handcarving on the arms and fluted carved legs.
The Karl Johan biedermeier and Empire sofas will be polished cherry wood, golden birch and other rich figured woods.
The country furniture will be rough hewn and full of passion
The art deco sofas have wonderful golden birch inlaid veneers
These sofas and couches can seat between 2 and 8 people depending on the size of the sofa and usually have horsehair padding with the original fabric webbing and springs which we recondition if necessary.
There's nothing more beautiful as a centrepiece than a classic Gustavian, Louis XVI, karl Johan or country sofa and they take a variety of fabric colours very well to fit into period and modren interiors.
